  • Marine Corps to build self storage facility.  Should the U.S. military enter into commercial real estate?  This is the question being raised by the Self Storage Association.  The SSA is opposed to the military competing with the private sector, which may have a negative impact on the surrounding market.  The SSA's opposition to self storage development by the U.S. Army at Fort Sam Houston led to the Army's cancellation of the project.  Full Article
