Do you need to do a complete review of your rental agreements?  If you own a self storage facility, you may want to see if your state is one of the 47 states or The District of Columbia which has enacted a self storage lien law.  To take advantage of the statutory lien, self storage operators will need to modify their rental agreements.  The law requires that the rental agreement contain a statement, in bold type, advising the occupant of the existence of the lien and that stored property may be sold to satisfy the lien if the occupant is in default.  Check with your state association or visit the National SSA website for more information.  www.selfstorage.org

No news is good news, right? The Treasuries barely moved in either direction with the 5-yr note moving up 5-bp and the 10-yr note down 2-bp. LIBOR and the trailing indices stayed on the sidelines with no change. Reminder: most of the programs Arcadia offers can be locked for 60-90 days.
