C. William Barnhill,
CCIM, PhD, has been in the
Commercial Real Estate Business over 30 years. He has been
actively involved as owner and broker in the self storage
business for 13 years. As President and owner of Omega
Properties, Inc., Mr. Barnhill has been an active broker,
developer, consultant and manager of self storage properties.
He has brokered over $100 million in self storage transactions.
Omega Properties, Inc. was formed in 1979 as a Commercial
Investment Real Estate firm. The company has been active
in site selection, land development and particularly self
storage. Mr. Barnhill owns and operates six
self storage facilities in Alabama. Stuart LaGroue has been specializing in self storage brokerage since 2004. He has been involved in the brokerage of over $30 million in transactions in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. Currently, Stuart serves as Treasurer of the Alabama Self Storage Association (ALSSA) and is also a Board Member. Stuart is currently a CCIM Candidate.
Allen Barnhill has 20 years experience in real estate investment and self storage. Allen is licensed in Tennessee and Alabama and represents Argus in eastern and central Tennessee. As a partner with fellow Argus affiliate Ron Mitchell, Allen successfully developed and owned two all climate-controlled self storage facilities in Alabama and Florida totaling over 280,000 square feet of space from 1995 through 2005. Allen earned a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Alabama and a MBA from Auburn University where he graduated in 1987.
Ron Mitchell has been involved in real estate investment and
self storage for 12 years. Ron is currently licensed in
Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi and is handling eastern and
central
Tennessee (all areas in the state east of the Tennessee River).
Prior to working in real estate and self storage, Ron was a
McDonald’s Restaurant Franchisee from 1987-1995. Ron holds a
Bachelor’s of Arts from Florida State University. |

Barry Comiskey,
Managing Partner of Brokerage and Leasing with Westar Commercial
Realty, has been active in the commercial real estate field since
1978. He received the CCIM designation in 1983.
Mr. Comiskey is active in development, leasing, brokerage,
consulting and property management. He holds a
BBA and
MBA from
Eastern New Mexico University
and is a former faculty member at
New Mexico Junior College. Barry is now Managing
Partner with Westar and
is Co-owner.
