Chose Pleasantdale Self Storage based on other reviews, and was extremely glad that I did. Service was outstanding and the facility was exactly what I needed. Additionally, the rate offered and the bonus of having a free truck to move in means that I'm happy to recommend them to other users.

Facility is great but the free truck needs some work.
The people who run the business are helpful and friendly. The truck they provided needs some mechanical work and some new tires. Overall I recommend them, just be aware the truck is a 14 foot model and make sure the truck is in good condition for your move.

Definitely recommend this
I am a recent college grad who has moved to Atlanta. While researching storage facilities, I quickly realized that prices closer in the city were way more expensive. A 5x10 in the Buckhead area was between $90 and $112--Yikes! The Pleasantdale location is conveniently right off I-85, so it is an easy drive (provided you don't hit rush-hour traffic.)

Customer service (John & Greg) at the Pleasantdale location was great. The facility is 3-months old, so everything is very new and clean. There are two dolleys/carts available to wheel your stuff into the building. There is a speaker system in the building, which is always playing music (nice), and the building was well-lit. My boyfriend helped me moved in around midnight on a Saturday, and I was surprised to see women coming and going alone. I took it as a good sign that they feel safe coming here late at night. Also, I didn't get to use the Free truck when I moved in because it was already booked for the day, but Greg said I could use it when I move out. Sweet!

Word of advice: Bring shelves, bookcases, etc. so you can stack stuff really high. Then you can fit a lot more in that you imagine. I rented a 5x10 for my stuff, and it was plenty of space. Granted, the unit is packed to the brim, with boxes stacked to the ceiling...but a 10x10 would have been excessive.

I went to look at unit on Monday 7/09/12 and Greg was very nice. He showed us several units,so he was very patient. I told him about being at Public Storage for over 5 years and they continue to go up.. My new storage unit is clean,neat and very accessible to get in and get to.
