I've put stuff in storage several times in my adult life (don't ask) and this is by far the best I've ever seen. The procedures were easy, fast and uncomplicated (very unusual - most places you practically have to give blood to get a 4'x4' locker). The staff is wonderful, the place is clean and I feel like my stuff and I are very safe. OH and the prices are the lowest I've ever, ever seen.

Terrific staff, clean facilities
The manager and staff went out of their way to be helpful, even to letting my birds stay in the office rather than the cab of the truck. And when the movers I had hired to unload the truck didn't show up, they helped me out. Moving to a new area is hard, but easier when people are so friendly and professional.

I checked around Yonkers for the cheapest price but what i found was scary then i checked this place it was Great! Clean Safe and Secure and the people working was great, well worth the price and nothing can be better then having peace of mind that my stuff is in great hands. The customer service was outstanding did not think i would get it in NY but i did. anyone who uses this palce would be happy.

Stress free move
I was very stress with the move i was doing , but i takled to Frederick the manager and he helped educate me on ways to save moneyand help with me finding a trustworthy mover, he took his time with me and made me feel more relaxed with my move that was very stress full. Thank you for all your help and i would use Yonkers Self Storage for any other move i ever have, again thnak you!!
Best Place to store your stuff
I used Self Storage for 10 Years, I have to say i never Recieved the best service in self storage, the Manager is very freindly and proffessional when i wa sin his office he was dealing with a crazy lady yelling at him and i have to say he was the best he kept his cool and showed respect to the lady, i would have kicked her out ..but thats me..i love this place i go to my storage unti every day i use it for business, one very hot day the Manager Frederick came out and gave me ice cold water, Now thats showing true customer service, the other place i was at could care less, they even locked me in the building once and i had called police to get out and when i asked the stafff and they could care less, but thank god i found this new place and its the best!!Keep it up you guys are doing Great!!

The indoor loading dock is always blocked off so you can't drive in???? and you have to walk your stuff further in the rain than if you just use the door but I'll open it if you want I was told by the store attendant ........Q - How do you use a indoor loading dock if you can't drive in??? A - You walk it in past the door you use if its not raining, or so I'm told??

Looking for someplace else
Day 1 - was told I was getting 2 parking spots for $89 a mo and and 5 x 10 for $55 a mo, did some paperwork was told we will tell what parking spots I would get on the next day
Day 2 - Get 2 parking paper tags and find out what spaces are mine called tow truck and get 1 of may spaces
Day 3 - Some guy I never seen yelling at me (must think it ok to do that as long as he says sir first because he keep doing it) from across the room that I'm not getting my other space unless I pay another $89 a mo ( I just walked in to use my storage unit??) come back later my space must have rented because something (not mine ) is now parked in it
Day 4 - U-HUL ...after 3 to 4 automated Q&A's ending with do you want to speak to a rep with yes as my request I get told by a rep a rep will call me "to find out what my issue IS ABOUT in the next 72 HOUR'S" .................. with the kids playing in the background U-HAUL'S Rep's not mine I ask about the time frame and was told I did understand it ....sometime in the NEXT 72 HOUR"S
Get a call from Bruce at U-HAUL who told me "if you don't like it rent someplace else"............call U-HAUL to talk to Bruce's manager who told me he is aware of my situation BECAUSE HE AND BRUCE SIT TOGETHER (I call his manager .....but it's probable Bruce)
I had parking someplace else for the 2 cars at $145 and wanted to save money was told $89 for the 2 spaces than days later it's $178 after have paid to move 1 of the 2 cars ??????
