I have had my storage unit since October. First, I wasn't told or given the month discount they advertised, wasn't even told about the special rate or anything. I didn't care because I just needed a place to store things. In January, I had to cancel my debit card. I forget this was the card on file (totally my fault). I canceled the card on Sunday and the next day, instead of calling me, they called my mother in another state, told her I didn't give them my phone number (I did, I checked the form) and how I charged something but my card failed giving my mother the impression that I skipped out on paying this and she felt like they were a debt collector. When I called them, I left an upset message on their machine. I stated I was upset, I didn't swear or yell. I get a callback and the person cuts me off as I was starting to speak, gets pissy at me because I flat out told her if she didn't cut me off she would have heard the rest of my sentence saying Lone Star Storage. She proceeds to say I left a rude message and hung up on me. I am not staying there. I will move my stuff out after I pay for whatever days I owe.Full Review

The folks there made the rental process very easy. They were great! The District Manager even made time to clear up a discrepancy. The promotional move in rate in uncomoarable and the major selling point, to include the monthly rental rate. I have read reviews about Public Storage jacking up rates after you move in thoush, which leaves me a bit skeptical about the overall satisfa tion, at this time. I would have rated them five stars if they could gurantee the monthly rate for an extended period of time, which they don't. All-in-all...not so bad, thus far.Full Review

I rented four storage units at different times. On each occasion the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. She was able to locate two units close to the first unit that I rented (all on the first floor). She also helped me rent the fourth unit and it was very close to the front on the same floor. She was pleasant and knowledgeable -- all good. I was previously at a different storage facility and they were much more expensive and the parking was an issue so I switched to your facility..Full Review
