I was very pleased with the service and location at Life Storage at 410 W. South Street. The facility had a great website and I was able to make a reservation online for a storage unit with ease. Upon arriving at the unit to finish the paperwork for the unit, the Assistant Manager Michael greeted me. Michael was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me. The price for the unit was reasonable and I liked that Life Storage offered an incentive of 3 months free at the time. Very nice facilty. Great!Full Review

I came to access my unit 10/07 not realizing that you all closed at 5 pm. I begged the manger who was standing outside to please let me,because I cold not recall my gate code. I came back the following morning and I was mad. Alice was there. I was ready to argue. After explaining what happened the day before,she asked how I would feel if someone approached me with work related stuff on my off duty time? She explained that some managers live on the property but it doesn't mean they are on call 24/7. She was so pleasant and positive I couldn't stay mad. She put me at ease and gave me my gate code. She even made me laugh at myself. She's a great lady and a great face for public storage. I would send all my friends to her!. I know I'm late putting it in,but please let her know I did the review . She is one awesome lady!!!!Full Review
I only have ONE issue and that is not having better parking storage. My space is on dirt and whenever it rains,then you have mud. No one wants to walk in mud and track it into there car. Gravel should have placed all over the parking area, not just a few.Full Review

Also, the information required for military members is unreasonable as some of the information, like the commanding officer's email and phone number, is little known by young/ new members. I just moved in yesterday, so time will tell on the overall experience, but so far it has been very good. In particular, my interaction with the staff has been great. They have been very friendly and good to work with. The unit itself is exactly what I imagined, and worked perfectly for my stuff. It was clean and accessible, and it was easy to unload my stuff into. The entire property looked well maintained, which says a lot about the management to me. We came into to look at rental space for our upcoming move. We looked at 2 different sizes and was quoted a price. When we started the paperwork all of a sudden the price went up $11 more a month. They could not explain why and said that there was NOTHING they could do about until the "big boss" was back in the building and we were promised a follow up phone call and that never happened. I feel like it was a classic "bait and switch" scam offering one price and then not honoring it. Do not do business with this location!Full Review

I was please fly surprised to find such a great storage building. It is new looking and very clean.
Upon my arrival I met a very pleasant manager named John. He was very kind, friendly and helpful.
When finished with storing I went back to the office to ask him for directions, as I am new to the area. Again, John was very much a gentleman and helpful. John makes your experience at Uncl Bob's storage the most pleasant than any others. I would definately recommend uncle Bobs Storage to anyone.Full Review
