First time getting a storage unit and had a fantastic experience. From the phone call with Porscha who helped me find a great deal to the accommodations with Nenah who helped me get a unite in the first floor since construction was not allowing access to the elevators and I needed to move in asap. Overall amazing
I used to have wonderful experiences with the previous owners, however, now it’s a circus. My unit is always locked and today was one of the worst experiences. It was dirty, smelled of urine and full of old furniture. Every time we come in now it’s freezing cold, they claim that it’s climate controlled. I received a call stating that my payment did not go through, I was confused because I have auto payment set up. So I explained this to the woman and she stated that she would put me on hold and double check. She then was able to process the card. This was on a Friday. I just tried to get to my unit and I was locked out of it. Now they claim that they have audits that they do daily to ensure that every unit that is paid for and up-to-date on payments are readily available to be accessed. However, this is now the seventh time I’ve had an issue where I cannot get into my unit. I’ve been told that I would receive a call or email from the district manager, and that has never happened. I received one call from a store manager, apologizing for the previous times being locked out, this was in the form of a short voicemail message and there was no accountability taken. I’m sure this place is great in New York and the other cities that it’s in, however, here in Illinois I’ve had nothing but issues with this company since they purchased it. I miss the old staff and the overall upkeep of the units.
Great customer service shout out to ♡Claudia! Claudia went over and beyond her job to assist. Office was very clean and welcoming. Storage Post Self Storage is a great place to store and prices are reasonable.

So I was a customer of extra space and they had good customer service, when the sold to Storage post I felt nothing but I must say the service I’ve been provided with this new company has been GREAT!! Literally no complaints. Every staff that they’ve had has been very polite & respectful. The guy Eddy/ Eddie wouldn’t even allow me to tip him.
