Red Dot Storage - State Road 46

Made online reservations..never received a phone call, did get an email reminder. Move in day, had no idea what to do, kiosk room wasn't labeled, after we asked someone who was in their storage, they showed us...then the kiosk wasn't even working. Had to call # to give info for lease....got to unit, and size listed, isn't true to size....after moving in, our moving truck lock, would not fit on the door..so had to run to the store after moving all day, to buy a disk lock..wasn't happy at all.. they could have had us do the contact before hand, and told us about the lock. Good part, unit was clean.

I had made a reservation online and it was super simple. The company called and emailed me as a reminder about move in and i really appreciated that. As there is no one at the actual facility, i used the kiosk with ease until it came to the very end and the gate code. My paperwork never printed out and i opted to pay for one of there padlocks. The first two times i paid for the padlock, one never came out. I tried calling for asistance but no the customer service office was closed and i called like 10 different times. I also tried calling because the gate code was not working. Come to find out, your vehicle has to be right up to the gate in order for the code to work. I wish there would have been a sign saying this. Once it was discovered, the rest of the move-in was seemless. I was able to finally get ahold of customer service to ask for a refund on the padlocks that i never received after paying for them.

I have rat poop in my unit and feathers. Not only could I not get into my unit in the evening. The first unit they assigned me had a broken down wall and the second unit they assigned me the door was rusted shut. The unit they finally assigned me that worked was filthy. It was rat poop in the unit and feathers.
