CubeSmart Self Storage - Rochester - 3100 7th St. NW

3100 7th Street NorthwestRochester MN 5590119.5 miles away
4.5 out of 5 - Based on 4 reviews

Starting at $79.90

I've rented storage units so many times over the past 15yrs alone and was not looking forward to do so again but here I am. Found a very reasonable deal online for Cubesmart - half regretting it as I could have gone with the previous unit I had moved out of only at the beginning of this year but money of course is tight. I received a phone call from one of the customer service agents from Cubesmart about an hour after I placed my reservation. The customer service just over the phone was enough to know the deal was solid. Then going in to finalize things - customer service yet again my choice was to commit was definitely a good one! Excellent! Very comfortable in going in and taking the tour; explanation of rules and such (not that I hadn't had expierence before) only had to be said once. They know what they're doing.Full Review

Hayfield, MN Car Storage Tips

Most Common Types of Car Storage

Indoor storage - Much like traditional self-storage, indoor storage units are the safest, most secure option for your vehicle, however because of that they are also the most expensive. Prices do vary by size, and some small cars/motorcycles can fit in a 10x10 or 10x15 unit, but your average size automobile will require a 10x20 unit.

Outdoor storage - Outdoor storage ranges from an unpaved lot to a dedicated parking spot on the facility grounds. Typically these spots are uncovered, however some outdoor options do have canopies you can park under. These spots will cost more than their uncovered counterpart, but they are still a much cheaper option than indoor vehicle storage.

Tips on How to Store a Car at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your car before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size

  • Change the motor oil
  • Inflate the tires
  • Purchase fuel stabilizer
