Overcharge For False Reason

I was told this very morning that I had a $50 fee for a false alarm - not coding in. I have to code in to enter the building so how is this possible? She said it was OK this time, but I paid that fee unknowingly before. Is the system set up to allow the staff to steal?

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Any and all fees that may be charged are outlined in the Rental Agreement. All payments are processed through our client software, and receipts are generated. No, the system is not set up for our staff to steal. Receipts and account ledgers are available to all customers. We believe in communicating with our tenants before charging fees, and explain the requirements for proper use of our alarm system multiple times before adding a fee.
