Quick, easy and painless... Thanks! My only gripe. No lighting. Heat would have been nice also but not necessary.Full Review
So, storage is storage in most cases, but I have to say it is the customer service that will keep me coming back. I was on a time crunch and despite the fact that they were closing, the woman there stayed later to help me get my key asap. I was very thankful.Full Review

I needed a 5x5 space and with the AAA offer of a month free and an Amazon gift card, plus the previous reviews, it was very easy to select A-Plus Self Storage. I was able to reserve online, and then a 15 minute follow up call finished what was needed. I was able to access the unit that day. Easy access to all of the units. The unit was very clean and made this a very easy process!Full Review
I reserved a storage unit online. Upon my arrival date I spoke with a kind gentlemen over the phone who gave me all pertinent information and within 10-15 minutes my space was available to move into. No in person meetings were necessary. The property is clean and well maintained. AAA membership also offered one free month. Highly recommended.Full Review

Prospect, PA RV Storage Tips

Most Common Types of RV Storage

Covered storage - While it’s usually the more expensive option, covered RV storage is the safest, most secure way to store your camper or trailer. In most cases, covered storage is simply a parking spot with a roof, however some facilities offer an indoor option which is just an over-sized version of a traditional self-storage unit (with drive-up access of course).

Uncovered storage - This storage option is basically an open parking space on the facility’s property, however because of its simplicity it’s also the least expensive option for RV storage. Some facilities do have paved parking areas specifically for motorhomes, but either way your RV will be outdoors and exposed to the elements – we recommend purchasing a cover if you go with this option.

Tips on How to Store a RV/Trailer at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your RV before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size
  • Give the camper a good cleaning before placing it in storage
  • Apply a coat of wax
  • Change the motor oil
  • Flush out the waste tanks
  • Purchase fuel stabilizer
  • Inflate the tires
  • Unload everything from your motorhome
  • Make sure the slide-outs are retracted
  • Once in storage, disconnect the battery
  • Make sure light can get into the motorhome
  • If possible, leave the vents open
