Good price for size; not as nice as advertised here

The details include false information including no moving truck according to the staff, much less free... Although others have said they were offered one if the many parked moving trucks on the side of the lot. My unit wasn't actually climate controlled nor was it on the 1st floor like the listing states. The unit itself is true to size (I got a 5x10), somewhat dirty (spider webs, cracks in outer walls into interior, occasional dead bug, etc.) and more of an outside building with long inner halls of spaces. Gate access is 6a-9p everyday of the year. The staff wasn't super friendly but the signing process was very pleasing sbd straight forwards- done within about 10 minutes- no hidden fees/admin or required insurance charges which is hard to find. Overall, can't beat the prices on their unit sizes in the area and it'll do the job if you're willing to tape/seal everything tightly or have a couple cob webs. I don't regret taking the price over a nicer interior easier to access unit that would be almost double what they charge.

Good Morning Hally, First I would like to thank you for your review and storing here with Peoples Storage. I see you mentioned that we offered false information re: Free Move in truck. I do know that when searching for storage it has been my experience that all the information that you take in while researching can become overwhelming and may also become confusing. Here at Peoples Storage we have do not nor have we ever offered a Move in Truck /Free Truck since the time of the opening of this facility 1977. I do not have your last name or any information that I am able to track to see who assisted you with your move in. I do apologize that you feel we were less then friendly but all I can say to that is we all have an off day once in a while and we strive to be friendly. courteous and efficient. We are very aware that when renting a unit it is usually for reasons that may be stressful and not always the best of times for many. We do take it to heart when we get a negative comment since that is, I am happy to say, a rare occasion . Thank you again for storing with Peoples Storage and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Great Value, Good Communication, A little old

Really happy we found this gem! I'm only giving 4.5 stars because it's a bit of an older place. We don't mind one bit, because I'm sure that's how they keep the price low and that was my main concern.

Good price. Nice office staff.

Overall not a bad place so far. Clean and secure. Would have like to have seen some first time renters discounts and a move in truck available. However the price for the unit I got is good so it may compensate for the lack of discounts. The move in truck would have been nice, not everyone has a vehicle big enough to move their stuff.
