It was good. The only problem was that my truck didn't fit into the facility. Therefore, I had to leave it kind of on the street. I got nervous to take my stuff up to my unit on the 4th floor while leaving the stuff in my truck unattended. However, the employee said he would watch it for me.Full Review

I rented 10 days ago....been locked out because storage of america made a mistake....still cant get to my tools....I rented this to store my work tools/supplies and have lost customers cause I can't get into my own storage unit to get the tools I need to do my job. I paid for a unit 2 weeks ago and somehow got locked out after 10 days though I am paid up for a month....still they have a red lock on my unit. neighbors got broke into.....one unit infested with roaches... not to mention i paid 35 dollars for the lock they cut off for whatever reason. I feel violated and nobody has business unlocking my unit and going up into my belongings without contacting me nor without me missing any payment. I still havent gotten a decent explaination. Its ridiculous and I realize I made a huge mistake renting hereFull Review

I recently moved my belongings from another storage place in Brooklyn where the location was further away, the room was smaller (5'x7') and the people were not as nice or friendly. I was initially paying $61 for the 5'x7' at my old storage place (before taxes and insurance) - $84 after taxes- but this year they were about to charge me nearly double for the same amount of space. I decided to hunt for a larger storage space and found a great deal on a 7'x10' space on the first floor, close to the elevators, closer to home in a convenient neighborhood across from a shopping center all for $89 (before insurance and tax). My old storage was about to go up to $116 per month and I had no more space left to store things in and Extra Space Storage had an awesome online deal for $89 for the 7'x10' in a great spot and they even included $50 refund on the rental of a U Haul truck! For the same price I now have a wider space that is convenient to transfer belongings in and I'm closer to home plus I can get shopping done after dropping off my stuff in the storage place! The front desk people were very friendly, courteous and helped me get set up in 10-15 minutes flat! The vibe in the office is chill and friendly as it should be. They answered all my questions and are helpful with any concerns. I am so glad I moved and am thrilled at my new deal!Full Review

The facility is very well maintained. Ms Anderson behind the counter was above and beyond being helpful in explaining and walking me thru the process of how to enter and leave the building. She was very gracious in informing me as to insurance, and how to upgrade when the time arrives. I plan on using this Storage facility for many years to come.
