I spoke to someone at the facility the day before I moved in. He said I could meet him there the next day at 3:00, or do the paperwork on-line and I could move in any time I wanted to the next day. I chose to do the paperwork online, got the gate combination and loaded up my car the next morning. I went to the facility to move in and there were orange cones across the driveway. They were tarring the driveway by the entrance. I parked my car on the road, went to the office (wearing a mask and gloves), the gentleman inside would not speak to me-he pointed to the phone number on the door. So, I called and asked how to use the gate code-I put the numbers in and the gate didn't open. He said "if you'd read your contract, you'd know you have to press star at the end". I asked him why he didn't mention the re-tarring when I spoke to him on the phone the night before and he said "I didn't know". No "sorry for the inconvenience". He said I could walk down to the door of my unit's building and get a flatbed for my boxes, but that I would have to walk back and forth. No problem, I thanked him for his help. I went down to the door with a couple of boxes-it was also key coded, so I couldn't get in. I looked at my contract and it said the manager would have to open the door for me the first time and give me the code. (I guess he didn't read the contract either). I called him again, no answer, so I left a message asking for help with the door. Luckily a woman, who turned out to be the property manager, was walking by, and gave me the code when I asked her if she knew what it was (I thought she was another customer.) She said the guy working had gone to lunch and was very nice and apologetic. I would never recommend this place to anyone.Full Review

Decided to use this facility to store items temporarily in between house moves. It was affordable, very quick to setup, turnkey for online access and right off the Hwy 18 freeway. Our unit was clean, everyone encountered was nice and there was easy to use items for moving stuff in and out of unit which was very helpful. My only dislike is the exit gate would be open over weekends which left the storage building less secure and there was no one to call to get it closed. I hope they are able to secure the gate access in the future.Full Review

It was quick and easy to start renting. The lady was really friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the gutter above my unit had a hole and dent in it so it leaked on us the entire time we were loading it up. Water was carried into the unit on totes, our feet, and our bodies. We returned today with towels to dry out the unit. I let the gal in the office know about the damaged gutter.Full Review

We rented a 5x5 in Jan, The staff were amazing! they have great competitive pricing and the security is perfect, they have live on sight staff that gives you an extra layer of protection. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a storage; they also have u haul rentals; we are planning to use one to move out our stuff next month:) Pricing all around cannot be beat for the area. My overall rating of Public Storage was basically a 5. The representative, Steven was very helpful and informative and was able to answer most of my questions. However, since everything is confirmed on line, even, obtaining copies of the contract, signing etc. it would be very helpful to customers to actually have a copy of the contract in a protective covering in the office to read before agreeing and signing understanding of what you read..You actually read everything once it is sent to you through e-mail. It is best to be able to read with clarity before signing anything.
