The staff was nice but I reserved online. Was shocked when I actually arrived, insurance, admin fee and lock. It went from $35/mo to my first bill $79. I wasn't going to try and find a cylinder lock (arrived with the disc lock that i needed to purchase yrs before). These are things that should be mentioned before a person rolls up to your establishment. I also found out when I was going to a larger unit that the rental isn't from the day of rental to the next months rental ie 9/4 to 10/4 but 9/4 to 10/1, rip off. I had to ask for a proration for my larger unit. I was going to have to pay $25 to go from my 5x5 to 10x15 for 4 days (Saturday to Thursday). Lucky my apartment has garages to rent. I feel like I side stepped a landmine. Now I have a 10x20 garage for $70/mo.Full Review
We visited two Public Storage businesses before deciding which one was more convenient for us. Both locations had the nicest, friendliest, and most professional staff we've encountered. Their service alone convinced us to go with Public Storage. They deserve a raise!!!Full Review

After talking with the storage unit location staff, I held a storage unit online per instruction. I went to the location to finish the paperwork and drop off a first load. Unfortunately, the system was down and we had to call the customer support line to complete the rental and did so without incident. I provided the rental insurance to meet requirements and later returned to store more items. I was denied access to the facility.
The staff was kind enough to tell me I had the wrong unit (in which I previously stored items). Turns out the customer service line and local facility assigned different units generating need for me to execute another contract and prove that I have renter insurance for a second time. Bottom line, a pretty straight forward process became a cluster wasting my time.Full Review

I must say it was hard for me to find my storage unit by its number. My phone was out of power and it was after business hours. Confusing as it may be, one time I took a different elevator down then I took up. I hurried out the door to discover I had entered the back yard parking lot complete with 15 foot gate and fence all around. I tell you though I am starting to be happy about it, my storage. The facility is centrally located. This public Storage is lit up brightly with florescent lights. I like that. My 5x5 unit has a tall ceiling. Wow could I pile stuff up there. also I am impressed by the roll down security door and the hardened lock I purchased. I still have to write down the entry door code for easy access, but it is a perk on the way. I have learned a bit the hard way, but soon I should enjoy my chore of going to the storage. I have a dull life. I easily fit all my clothes and some gear and will probably add a bicycle at some point. I have talked to a rep from their company, on the phone and in person at the office downstairs. this was my choice, as it may all be down automatically online or through the app. I found the staff friendly, helpful, and reassuring.Full Review

Very happy overall. Price, service, accommodating.
Only thing that is a challenge is car dock isn't wide enough to move around other cars that are parked while loading and unloading.
They need to designate a parking and passing lane, but you still may be parked in front of someone's unit, which they can't access until you leave.Full Review
