I rented my unit here 6 months ago. When I did Chrystal, the manager, told me they don't raise rent often implying that I shouldn't worry about it. Well, it's been 6 months and my rent has been raised twice as of today. $25 each time so, $50 total. I asked Chrystal about it and she responded with "Everyone wants these places for free. How are we supposed to support ourselves". Don't even ask to use the restroom. My son refuses to ask and he just pee's on the rollup door of my next door neighbor's unit.Full Review
I was able to move in, finish paperwork, and have a laugh in between with GTSS rep while I was there on 9/28/19. It was clear and easy to complete paperwork. There are no hidden or fine print details. They give a great deal as well! Thank you guys!Full Review

Very good deal vs other "standard" facilities & love the "drive right up " accessibility...no winding hallways to navigate, no carts &/or elevators to struggle with, just back right up to the door & move on. Daniel (Office) was friendly & helpful & answered all our questions at start-up.Full Review

Castaic, CA RV Storage Tips

Most Common Types of RV Storage

Covered storage - While it’s usually the more expensive option, covered RV storage is the safest, most secure way to store your camper or trailer. In most cases, covered storage is simply a parking spot with a roof, however some facilities offer an indoor option which is just an over-sized version of a traditional self-storage unit (with drive-up access of course).

Uncovered storage - This storage option is basically an open parking space on the facility’s property, however because of its simplicity it’s also the least expensive option for RV storage. Some facilities do have paved parking areas specifically for motorhomes, but either way your RV will be outdoors and exposed to the elements – we recommend purchasing a cover if you go with this option.

Tips on How to Store a RV/Trailer at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your RV before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size
  • Give the camper a good cleaning before placing it in storage
  • Apply a coat of wax
  • Change the motor oil
  • Flush out the waste tanks
  • Purchase fuel stabilizer
  • Inflate the tires
  • Unload everything from your motorhome
  • Make sure the slide-outs are retracted
  • Once in storage, disconnect the battery
  • Make sure light can get into the motorhome
  • If possible, leave the vents open
