ZERO SECURITY. WE WERE ROBBED OF OVER $50,000 WORTH.

As other reviewers have said, security is non-existent. Anyone and everyone comes and goes as they please through the facility during the day, from the auto dealership right next door. Storage blocks are left wide open during the day with zero attendance from manager and zero patrolling staff. Storage units have gaps near the ceiling that would allow contents to be photographed with a simple selfie stick. All it took was a pair of bolt cutters and a similar padlock, and our storage unit (which we'd had for many years, and which was full to the ceiling with expensive collectibles that can't be replaced) was completely emptied out. The police officer investigating the robbery was even told by staff that the "security cameras" around our storage unit were, amazingly enough, "not working"!

A. Evans, we are as upset as you are with your storage experience here. We want to assure you this is not the norm. We try our hardest to ensure a safe and secure storage experience for everyone. We have multiple security procedures in place along with with ultra high def video cameras that have been installed over the last year. We take security serious which is why we have been replacing and adding new state of the art digital cams which are capable of very accurate people tracking while in the facility. Anyone on site has been authorized and given a code to use on the keypad at the main gate and also the pedestrian gate. We are sorry your unit was forcefully broken into. We are always improving to keep the bad guys out. We have now increased the daily walk throughs with your suggestion as well as lock tagging improvements. Also, for anyone looking to store higher value items, we always recommend and can provide insurance. Please contact us to discuss further on things we can do better. Thanks, Bair Island Storage
