    Nope.
    Definitely would not recommend this facility for your storage needs of you had to move out of town. Corona hit and I lost my job with no income for 3 months, but no worries still got massive late fees even after I explained I had no job and income, (mind you I didn’t qualify for unemployment and never received a stimulus the first round) but it’s South Dakota. I did what I could. Then finally getting caught up my card information was stolen. Got a new one finally ya know covid it was a wait here because EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED including banks no contact just by mail with banks regarding card replacement. Got behind again. Talked to a gal paid it up and positive it told her to put my card on auto. Clearly it didn’t happen. Got sick had an accident. No email. No voicemail. They told me they attempted to reach me multiple times. Yet not even a voicemail when I was able to get to my phone. Isn’t 30 days notice a thing? Via mail, voicemail, text so your aware? Probably not. Received a text about a pre lien with no dates or time on it on how long. Then called as soon as I was able too. The 2nd of Jan. My unit was auctioned. So I don’t recommend at all. They don’t leave voicemail they don’t listen clearly. Don’t expect much from folk who don’t lose their jobs or struggle because of the rona or accidents. So in that I hope these employees lose their partner in a horrible way and they lose everything they had left of them because that’s all I had. If I could have contacted sooner I would have. Or if my card would have actually been put back on auto pay like I said too. No big deal.

    Hi FOFC, Thank you for leaving a review about our Facility. I am sorry to see this review. Please see below the information on how many times we tried to contact you. There were 14 calls, 5 emails, 18 text messages and 5 mailers that we tried to reach you on the last letter was a certified letter. 11/16 /2020 Balance past due text message sent out. 11/24/2020 Balance past Due Text Message Sent out. 11/24/2020 Phone goes straight to voicemail, and voicemail is full. 11/30/2020 phone is turned off. 12/1/2020 No answer Voicemail not set up. 12/14/2020 pre-lien mailed and emailed along with a text message. 12/15/2020 rang once and went straight to voicemail. 12/16/2020 called went straight to voicemail and its full, sent balance past due text message. 12/18 /2020 Phone went straight to voicemail but its full. 12/29/2020 tried calling no answer voicemail is full and no contact for 59 days. 12/29/2020 Tried getting in touch with the alternate contact on storage unit , phone rang no answer but we were able to leave a voicemail asking for a phone call back from either the tenant or alt contact. ( Still no response ) With the Auto-Pay comment, we did have you on the auto-pay with a credit card declining, and after that happens for 5 days we do remove it off auto pay, especially when the tenant does not respond to phone calls. You would have noticed the amount not coming out of your account as well I would assume. So as you can see we do a lot more than most facilities to get in touch with you on the storage unit. The last thing we want to do is sell a tenants stored items but when we do not here from a tenant at all in over 60 Days we have not choice in the matter. All of it is in your signed Lease Addendum. We have worked with several people that lost their jobs, and have got the virus , but all those people kept in touch and did not make it look like an abandoned unit. I also feel it is a extreme for you to hope my employees lose their partners in a horrible way, I understand your frustration but they never did anything to you. This has all been done because of no payments or contact for over 60 Days. Your storage unit did have food stored in it as well, It clearly states in the signed lease addendum that no food of any sort can be stored in the unit. Rapid City Self Storage
