The folks there made the rental process very easy. They were great! The District Manager even made time to clear up a discrepancy. The promotional move in rate in uncomoarable and the major selling point, to include the monthly rental rate. I have read reviews about Public Storage jacking up rates after you move in thoush, which leaves me a bit skeptical about the overall satisfa tion, at this time. I would have rated them five stars if they could gurantee the monthly rate for an extended period of time, which they don't. All-in-all...not so bad, thus far.Full Review
I rented four storage units at different times. On each occasion the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. She was able to locate two units close to the first unit that I rented (all on the first floor). She also helped me rent the fourth unit and it was very close to the front on the same floor. She was pleasant and knowledgeable -- all good. I was previously at a different storage facility and they were much more expensive and the parking was an issue so I switched to your facility..Full Review

This storage unit facility is wonderful. It offered a great price for nice large storage units (10x30 and 10x35). The manager, SARA was incredibly professional and courteous. She even offered to roll up a chair so my elderly father could sit in it while the paperwork was being filled out. Sara explained every portion of the contract pointing out possible fees that could occur like if you didn't pay your bill in 'x amount of time'. She gave us a tour of the facility and showed us how to open and close the units and how to place the locks on them. Moving is stressful in itself. Choose this place to help reduce that stress by making things easier and more affordable.Full Review

I made an online reservation for a 5 x 10pm climate controlled room. When I received a confirmation call, the manager gave me some great advice - come in a day or two before you are moving because it takes about 30-45 minutes to get everything set up in the system and you don't want your movers waiting while you do that. Went two days before and quickly found out my reserved room is way too small for what I needed (my fault, I have no skills on figuring out dimensions needed), so the employee who was helping me quickly found a storage unit that would work for my needs, even with very little inventory. Everyone was very nice and professional and I'm very pleased with the unit I ended up with.Full Review

Most Common Types of RV Storage

Covered storage - While it’s usually the more expensive option, covered RV storage is the safest, most secure way to store your camper or trailer. In most cases, covered storage is simply a parking spot with a roof, however some facilities offer an indoor option which is just an over-sized version of a traditional self-storage unit (with drive-up access of course).

Uncovered storage - This storage option is basically an open parking space on the facility’s property, however because of its simplicity it’s also the least expensive option for RV storage. Some facilities do have paved parking areas specifically for motorhomes, but either way your RV will be outdoors and exposed to the elements – we recommend purchasing a cover if you go with this option.

Tips on How to Store a RV/Trailer at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your RV before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size
  • Give the camper a good cleaning before placing it in storage
  • Apply a coat of wax
  • Change the motor oil
  • Flush out the waste tanks
  • Purchase fuel stabilizer
  • Inflate the tires
  • Unload everything from your motorhome
  • Make sure the slide-outs are retracted
  • Once in storage, disconnect the battery
  • Make sure light can get into the motorhome
  • If possible, leave the vents open
