Could back up what they say they'll do

I rented an empty unit and paid in full. When I returned to put my stuff in, somebody else's stuff was in my unit. When I asked about the people's stuff in my unit, I was told "too bad." When I disconnected the customer phone due to them arguing at me, the guy dialed me back to argue some more. It never occurred to me that the way they check to see if a unit is rented out is by counting locks on doors instead of reading their own signed paperwork. Please look at the paperwork you sign because people like me depend on it.

Hi Kathy - First I apologies for the inconvenience. I was able to listen in on the phone call you had with us on Saturday and I see you moved in on the 22nd and was moved out on the 27th. I believe the employee moved you out on the 27th because no lock was placed on this unit and most move outs take place at the end of the month (as its a month-to-month agreement). It was noted the employee you spoke with told you we had a 5x10 (same size you wanted) ready to go but you neglected to take it (which we would've credited what you paid and took care of the rest of the balance). We told you we could reverse the $21.50 and you told us not to do so and hung up on us. The employee called back and asked if we could credit it to your other unit and you said no. At this point I believe the employee didn't know how to help you as you didn't want the same size unit, or a reverse payment or a credit. I have added a $31.50 credit to your larger unit you have with us. If you have any further questions please call us at 801-268-8080. Thank you.
