Was supposed to get a gift card if I rented a unit. I rented a unit. No gift card. Two days after I signed a contract, the 'manager' informed me that effective immediately they were no longer going to have 24 hour access. No notice? A change in contract terms (most--but not all, true -- provide for a 30 day notice of change in terms).. I overlooked the snooty and lost being who rented me the wrong unit when I first signed an agreement I have health issues: a failing heart, MS, and epilepsy. I needed a facility that I could actually make use of when I was HEALTHY enough -- felt able to lift and transport -- so I overlooked the bad aspects -- poor lighting, incompetent/poorly trained staff, the unfriendly manner-- all because of the 24 hour access. And...you know what I got when I emailed about my disappointment and frustration with the poor handling of it all? KNOWING MY LIMITS, my 'disabilities', she offered to let me out of my agreement if I could move everything out quickly. So...who was supposed to move my things? OH! ME! That's right. And quickly (I'm sick) and make sure to be out of the facility by 10 pm every day I put myself at risk rushing to RELOCATE ALL MY CRAP. Oh...and then there was the night I was AT THE GATE --INSIDE-- RIGHT AT 3 MINUTES AFTER 10P. I WAS LOCKED IN!!! NO WAY OUT. WITHOUT MY MEDICINE. iN THE COLD (ALBEIT i COULD'VE SLEPT IN MY CAR, BUT I STILL WOULD'VE NEEDED MY MEDICINE). NAZIS! Thankfully another car pulled up on the outside and asked me if I wanted out, I was crying and nodded. It must've been the manager's husband, because he just pushed the buttons on his side and thank god the gate opened. THREE MINUTES! AND GOD KNOWS WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED. I'm starting to think the manager has decided I am her chew toy. Perhaps she doesn't like people who are disabled? I don't know, but I'm livid right now,
