I am going through a divorce and met Seville and she was more then just a nice woman at the front desk, she was kind and comforting seeing that I was struggling. She had kind words and made me feel safe, it was a wonderful experience.Full Review

Casitas Self Storage

We are 110℅ ecstatic about our new unit we just signed up for. We started on Spare foot which is a one stop shop for area storage companies & gives price n detail comparisons as well as any avail discounts or move in deals. It was user friendly n took no time at all. We got a deal of 50%off 1st Mo. The monthly rent $57 and one time fee $20 to sign up. We were helped, EXTREMELY WELL, by ofc mgr Shirley, who was spunky, very friendly and knowledgeable. She's been there 20 years!! Anyhow she had a little trouble accessing the order correctly thru internet and spare foot. It wasn't transmitting correctly n she mentioned she had issues last few days with their system interfacing with their own. For our inconvenience she ended up giving us a 6 Mo discount for 25% off. WOW!! after losing everything we had in the 2017 fire, you have no idea how much this means to us! Casitas storage gets a thumbs up from us n we HIGHLY recommend them for several reasons, very clean property, friendly n helpful staff, comparable sized units, LOWEST PRICE MONTHLY (before discounts) in county We could find, excellent security n no worries of our unit being broken in which seems to be an issue at most other places here. Refer a friend and get discount offered too! CASITAS STORAGE IS STELLAR N ROCKS!!Full Review
Our move in was easier than we had expected, and the manager, Casey, went out of her way to make the process as convenient for us as possible. We strongly recommend this facility to anyone looking for long-term or short-term storage.Full Review
Oxnard, CA RV Storage Tips

Most Common Types of RV Storage

Covered storage - While it’s usually the more expensive option, covered RV storage is the safest, most secure way to store your camper or trailer. In most cases, covered storage is simply a parking spot with a roof, however some facilities offer an indoor option which is just an over-sized version of a traditional self-storage unit (with drive-up access of course).

Uncovered storage - This storage option is basically an open parking space on the facility’s property, however because of its simplicity it’s also the least expensive option for RV storage. Some facilities do have paved parking areas specifically for motorhomes, but either way your RV will be outdoors and exposed to the elements – we recommend purchasing a cover if you go with this option.

Tips on How to Store a RV/Trailer at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your RV before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size
  • Give the camper a good cleaning before placing it in storage
  • Apply a coat of wax
  • Change the motor oil
  • Flush out the waste tanks
  • Purchase fuel stabilizer
  • Inflate the tires
  • Unload everything from your motorhome
  • Make sure the slide-outs are retracted
  • Once in storage, disconnect the battery
  • Make sure light can get into the motorhome
  • If possible, leave the vents open
