Upon entering Devon Self Storage I was greeted by Brillet. She is very friendly, polite, professional. As I entered and was giving Brillet my information I noticed the facility has exterior and interior surveillance along with security doors you can open with your access code. Devon Self Storage is a three floor climate controlled facility with large elevators and flatbed carts to move your belongings. The storage area on the first floor was extremely clean with no odors. It would be safe to say the upper floors are the same. Large access doors prop open for ease of moving items in and out. The cost of the storage unit is excellent considering it is climate controlled. You do have to buy a special security lock for $20, but considering you get the first two weeks of storage free, offsets the lock cost. I am confident my stored items are safe. I am beyond satisfied with the my storage unit. If I need a storage unit in the future, I will not hesitate to use Devon Self Storage . Thank you, Dean

The office at Lady Lake is always so helpful & friendly even when I was on stressed post hurricane mode they patiently guided me to the perfect sized unit which was also an amazing location on the first floor. I always felt safe and it was clean! Almost empty and almost a year there!

The conversion to Devon self storage has been the least professional and most frustrating experience I’ve had in a long time. Devon is not honoring the timelines for charges that they themselves put in writing. The Office staff says one thing and then the corporate office does something else, with no recourse or promised refunds for violations of Devon’s own standards. The obligating of people to new terms for Devon as of December 15 2025 when renters were only notified on December 19 2025 that they had, by default, accepted those terms should be illegal, I would think. Emails and voicemails to the property are ignored. Requests in person go nowhere. Homeowners Insurance certificates added to their computer system do not actually remove the upcharge for Devon’s insurance and refunds apparently are not being issued. I could go on. I’ve been patient as I am aware MANY renters have been filing complaints in the office (6 visits for me thus far). But with no acknowledgment or progress on any of the issues or refunds I have no option but to post this review. Devon has had no problem communicating its request for reviews, only in fulfilling its own terms of the rental agreement or customer service.

The district lead (Kelsys) has been extremely helpful to me as I navigated my storage needs at the previously named Extra Space Storage. She is also often noted to be cleaning the facility when I arrive and the condition of the space is impeccable! I have been a HAPPY occupant for 4 months. Thanks!

Absolutely horrible Been trying to get a manager on the phone for over 2 1/2 to 3 weeks in regards to the new name change and an updated contract left several messages. Nobody is answering hopefully when I come there tomorrow, somebody will be there because it seems like nobody is running this place whatsoever, but yet they are sure. OK with taking the money out of our account really quickly.
