Having to move for any reason is hard however my experience the other day was top notch at Public Storage. The young lady (Denise) was so professional, knowledgeable and sweet. She made sure I had everything I needed, knew where my storage was. It was clean and ready.. 10/10 recommend.

Kathy has been such a wonderful person to help me out while I needed to store my stuff. I rented a unit from them for 6 months and I highly recommend using them! Will be back if I ever need another storage unit!

Tell Me Lies, Tell Me Lies, Tell Me Sweet Little Lies!! This disclaimer on Public Storage’s website is not true - “Reserving your unit is completely risk-free.” The caveat for that statement is (unlike other transparent storage companies) that if you complete the reservation by holding it with your payment information you have automatically entered into an agreement and will not be refunded for the “administrative fee” even if you never rent with them. Cha-Ching! Be careful! I ultimately ended up going with another storage company because their website clearly allows you to select whether you want to proceed with reserving only OR securing the unit right then. I have rented from Public Storage multiple times over the last decade, but they have received their LAST $30 donation from me.

Be aware of deceptive pricing practices. Signed up for a storage unit in January at one rate, and just over 3 months later get notified of a rental price increase of 90%. Tried contacting customer service about it and was given a runaround, and a justification that the price agreement is a monthly thing subject to increase with a 30 day notice. A reasonable increase after a period of time for more than 3 months I could understand, but this is ridiculous. Company seems to rely on complacent clients who do not resist such changes and just lay back and eat the extra cost. I will be looking to take my business elsewhere.
