⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just want to take a moment to say how thankful I am for the help I received from Theodore at Extra Space Storage on 880 E Rollins Rd in Round Lake Beach. Before calling this location, I had called several other storage places, and honestly, no one was as kind, patient, or helpful as he was. From the very first call, he treated me with respect, took the time to answer every single question I had, and made sure I completely understood everything about the unit, the fees, and the process. I was stressed and unsure about what I needed, but he made everything so easy and made me feel comfortable the entire time. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes pride in his job. He went above and beyond to help me find the best option for my situation and made me feel like I was in good hands. It’s not often you come across people who genuinely want to help, and Theodore truly made a difference. I’m so grateful for the excellent service and kindness he showed me. If anyone needs storage, I 100% recommend going to this location and asking for Theodore — he’s the best!

Headline: WARNING: Dishonest Bait-and-Switch & Rude Management "Avoid this place at all costs. They are not honest. I saw an advertised price for a unit at $50 and spent over an hour on the phone with a representative to confirm it. I even PAID for the unit over the phone and cleared out my old storage space to move in. When I arrived, they refused to honor the $50 price I already paid and tried to force me into a $300 rate instead. When I asked them to give me the unit I had a reservation for, they completely ignored me and tried to send me to a different location miles away. The staff on-site was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a district manager to resolve the lie, they refused to help. To make matters worse, it took 3 days just to get my refund back. They lure you in with fake prices, take your money, and then leave you stranded with your belongings and no unit. Save yourself the stress and go to a company with actual integrity."

I rented a space for 67 dollars a month then after 4 months, and now its november they upped my rate to 122!!! When i called and asked about it i was told that was normal and they up rates to match the other storage facilites near by. So i called a near by one and got a space for 56 dollars a month. When i called back i was told they would lower to 76...smh. Now i'm sure they'll offer a move in special at a lower rate then i had.... Terrible business practice, i DO NOT recommend but if you do rent here, keep an eye on your invoices. Fyi i just checked and now they are offering the space 51....its crazy that anyone would treat their customers this way. Smh In response to the owner... I did after you double my rent without notice, you guys said the 76 was the lowest you could and that you would have no problem renting it for more.......any more comments?
