I was very happy with the professionalism of the staff. However-- When I reserved the space, I was told that the "total move-in costs" would be $25.00. Upon arrival and after viewing the rental space, I began processing the paperwork. I was told I would need to pay an additional $16.00 per month for required insurance. I was also told I could not use my own lock, but had to purchase one from Public Storage ($19.00). So, my new move in costs were approximately $60.00. This almost seems like a "bait and switch" type set-up.Full Review

I was super impressed with how easy the entire process to get the unit was. I applied on-line and got a quote - and form there on I had reps from the facility contacting me to narrow down a move in time. My schedule is hectic and all over the place - and they did a great job in following up and being flexible. The unit was clean upon arrival and they helped me get all the paper work done quickly and explain rules and limitations. I truly appreciate how easy it was to get this unit and from the sounds of it it will also be easy to move out. I don't know if I would ever move again without renting out a storage unit to 1. declutter and 2. be the inebetween grounds.Full Review

Indoor storage - Indoor storage units are the safest, most secure option for any watercraft, however because of that they are also the most expensive. Tips on How to Store a Boat at a Storage Facility

  • Measure your vessel before you rent your unit to make sure you choose the right size
  • Give it a good cleaning before placing your boat in storage
  • Drain all the water and make sure it’s is dry
  • Apply a coat of wax
  • Change the engine oil
  • Once in storage, loosen the drive belts
  • Purchase a cover to keep your watercraft better protected
