I’m sorry I can only give 3 stars but I just signed up and have not had the full experience with the company to give 3 stars. What I can say is that the CubeSmart I sign up with ( 855 Taft st in Gary) has gotten a great review from my aunt who had a unit there. She is the reason I went there. Tiffany at the front desk is awesome. She is friendly and very knowledgeable. She takes her time with you and makes you feel at home. This facility may not have 24 hour access but the security is unbeatable. Tiffany knows everyone that comes in and out. She will even come and check on you if she feels she hasn’t sent you in a while. I like the fact that someone has eyes on you all the time. I’m looking forward to working with this company.

I’ve only been in this contract for 3 consecutive months paying $129+ fees totaling $133. The company sent an email without explanation stating in July I will now be paying $168+ fees totaling $172. I sent an email to the store manager to explain the sudden increase and they have yet to reply. I think this is very dishonest to promote an affordable rate just to arbitrarily increase it on customers. I’m positive their only response will be some generic response claiming the economy, or the markets. This shouldn’t be passed to the customer. I will be ending my contract and never using them again. I find that customers are already struggling and to increase their fees $38 without reason is unacceptable. Initially gave them a 5 star but poor business practices and dishonesty is more deserving of a 1 star.

Received call that there was water main break. Items may have been affected. I set up a time to come do a physical inspection. The place was so neat and tidy. I have been renting for three years now ,so I saw the place before cube smart. I am impressed. The gentleman moved items around so I could inspect for any water damage. He gave me a complimentary mattress cover too. My items were still in great condition. No smells. No mess. Love it. Thanks for all you do.

You've gone up on my unit again! This time I didn't get a notice. Why are you continuing to do this. That's 70.00 since you've taken it over which is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention you've not addressed as far as I know the rodent issue. Some of us need the units because we have things that are dear to us. So that's a problem and affordability is becoming an issue. As soon as I'm well enough. I'm probably going to have to pack up and get another unit someplace else.
