The woman who helped me with the paperwork was so nice and helpful, and the facility was very clean. I am renting a climate-controlled unit, and the AC is definitely on, and it's a comfortable temperature every time I go. Before I came to Uncle Bob's, I signed a lease on what I thought was the best storage unit I could get for my money. It was in the city but it wasn't climate-controlled, the wall didn't even meet the ceiling in some places (not great for hurricane, or any, season), and a man came into the lobby when I was there saying "Well, they only took the TV." Needless to say, I went looking elsewhere. Even though Uncle Bob's is further away than I wanted, they more than make up for this in customer service (Amy is awesome, as is everyone else with whom I've interacted), a super clean facility with good security, hand carts available at all times, and free spacious van rental for move-in, which was essential for me. They even play good music in the hallways! I got the 10x10 climate-controlled unit and I feel completely comfortable leaving it over the summer while I'm out of the country. I was also able to put someone else on the account for free if we need to get in while I'm away. I really can't recommend this place enough!Full Review

I reserved a 10x10 unit from this facility on-line on 4/8/2018 for $119.00. Then I immediately went to this location to finish up all the paperwork. Yes, I could have done it on line but I wanted to see the actual unit I would be getting and I also had questions about the "move in special". After all said and done the $1.00 move in special came up to $69.00. Still not bad for the unit I was renting. The issue I have is that the following month my monthly fee went up to $129.00.Then three months later my monthly fee went up to $159.00.Then 8 months later my monthly fee went to $186.00!!Then it went up again 4 months later to $197.00!! Let me be clear, the employees are great and pleasant and the facility was somewhat clean for a storage facility. The problem I have is with the price gouging. It is now 3/6/2021 and this will be my last month with this company due to the reasons above. I'm not giving them another chance to raise my rent again. Especially when I can get a 10x15 unit at their competitors on the first floor, climate controlled for $109.00 and yes I did my due diligence this time and asked about raising my rent every few months and in this rental contract I have with the new storage facility and after speaking to the manager I am locked in at this rate unless I am late on a payment. So GOODBYE PUBLIC STORAGE!!!Full Review
