Very clean storage facility. Staff was very helpful when checking in for the first time. And Kevon Nelson went above and beyond when I was clearing out my storage unit. I didn't give 5 stars because it's not 24 hours access.

I must be honest and say that the Extra Space Storage on Merrick Road in Valley Stream has the nicest customer representatives. Firstly, there’s the receptionist, PRECIOUS who is so polite and professional in greeting the customers when they enter the establishment, she has a warm smile on her face and a great demeanor. KEVON the office manager is very knowledgeable about the business and has been extremely helpful to me since 2021 to 2026. I have also had the pleasure of working with SAM over the phone when paying my Unit and there has never been a time where he wasn't professional. This is the type of customer service that is rare these days especially in this messed up and confused world that we’re living in now. It’s so refreshing to enter an establishment and the people working there have manners, respect for themselves and others. I know that there are many other EXTRA SPACE STORAGES around but this one is the only one i have been to and have NO complaints about.

I had an experience that I wasn’t expecting. As nature would have it , sometimes pest cannot be controlled and I got the worst infection ever. Rat dropping everywhere !! I was absolutely mortified and the staff sprang to action and I was able to move into a new and bigger unit at no extra cost. That took a lot of stress off me! I was so happy for the staff at Extra Storage Space (Sam Kevon and the Young lady ( whose name espaces me)for their top tier service . Things happen but they didn’t make excuses and served results . 10/10 would recommend

Precious and Kevon are very professional and helpful! They always greet you with a smile and are willing to help in anyway they can! Because of their hospitality I would highly recommend using Extra Space in Valley Stream on Merrick!
