Where do I start with this expensive and super disappointing place , well I got a unit from here seemed like a super secure place cameras everywhere and gate codes needed to get into the property that was a big plus to me as I have a bunch of sentimental possessions, tons of dewalt electric tools, some pass down jewelry, 3 big tool boxes full of tools and some miscellaneous items I needed well kept, everything was going good for the first month then right before the month ended they slap me with a 110 dollar markup with some story how they gotta keep up with street value or some corney story that didn't make sense whatsoever so I ask the lady if your being competitive in prices wouldn't that bring down the price a few dollars instead to keep customers vs bending them over in just a month and absolutely went nowhere with that it was like talking to a brick wall she was just clueless, on to the reason for this post and why we chose to leave also why im warning people to stay as far away from this place as humanely possible so I came to my rental space one morning and found my units lock had a green lock on it I immediately walked over to the office knowing I was 2 months paid in advance so that wasn't the issue I was certain of to find out 80 plus units had been broken into, I spoke with the front manager about this situation and all he had to say was we'll we don't stay here on site and things happen as if he didn't give a dam at all about the customers he then proceeded to tell me we were gonna call you which I truly doubt just by dealing with him and his disgusting attitude he told us to file a insurance claim and don't worry we gonna get paid well to me thats not the point its that im paying almost 200 for a secure gated entrance a camera system and peace of mind he was also so clueless and the owners really should evaluate their employees on to the insurance claim well got to the police station started to file a report and the officer asks where are all my receipts for my stolen items I don't have most of that due to always buying from Facebook market , pawnshops and yeah most of my tools were from home depot but who the hell keeps receipts thinking this would happen, we'll now im out almost 5k in tools , tool boxes my t-shirt printing business supplies as in presses , printers, and just some other expensive stuff is all gone, so moral of the story is they will over charge you make you pay for insurance that you will never be able to claim on and the managers there know it and they will handle you with just pure disrespect, so if your looking to get robbed, scammed and treated poorly this is your place as far as this review please consider it cause you will be sorry for dealing with this establishment and these disgusting people they call personal, just a very horrible experience with this place not recommended at all if I could give negative stars I would cause a 1 star is even to good for them

Today my unit was broken into& AARON was so kind & helpful he called me immediately & let me know what happened & let me go through my unit to see what was missing...I REALLY APPRECIATE HIM CAUSE HE WENT ABOVE & BEYOND HIS JOB....THANKS EXTRA SPACE STORAGE FOR ALWAYS HELPING!!!... Update: they are a freaking scam first it was I didn't have the right lock got the lock now that my stuff got broke into again (mind you it's been 2 times this yr in less than 3 months lol) it's that I didn't have insurance lol....I would rather have the old owners back because my stuff never got broken into Ive been in this unit for 5 yrs & you telling me not one brake in in 5 yrs but all of a sudden 2 twice in one year less than 3 months apart...yeah ok ...YOU CAN'T TELL ME SOMEBODY WORKING THEIR AINT DOING THIS!!!!....I BET THE UNITS THAT GOT HIT WAS NO INSURANCE OR SOMETHING THEN THEY TRY TO SELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED LIKE INSURANCE LOCK A BIGGER UNIT...SOME TOLD ME TO LEAVE MY UNIT WHERE IT WAS BLOCKED SO THEY COULDN'T OPEN THE DOOR BUT THE MANAGER IS TOO NICE FOR SOME REASON....BUT ITS OK I CAN REPLACE MATERIAL ISH BUT IM GONE FOLLOW MY INTUITION ON THIS & I FEEL IT'S A INSIDE JOB CAUSE AIN'T NOTHING A COINCIDENCE & CRIMINALS USUALLY DON'T STRIKE TWICE IN THE SAME PLACE!!!!!..Mind you they never called me to tell me my unit was broken into until my bill was due ..lol.. Even last time if I was they only one broken into why did it take days to call me...lol
