Hands down the best service I’ve gotten in Virginia. Hung was super helpful, respectful, and had a great sense of humor. He really took care of business and even salted the front entrance without being asked. That kind of attention doesn’t go unnoticed.

Super cool people . Very patient. I've been late paying my bill a couple times . Because hey sometimes I forget I even have storage but they were cool about 24 hour access and the kite flying is amazing

I’ve had a great experience with extra storage. I didn’t have a vehicle to transport my stuff out, but Hung helped me by managing to find someone to move my things out for a decent price. He also helped me carry my boxes out. I really appreciated his help. I’m glad decent and helpful human beings are still around.

I have had my space for many years. The facility is very clean and well-lit. Hours are good, gate always works. I appreciate their attention to detail…they have a traffic cone at each door to hold it open when you are carting lots of stuff in and out. Always a dolly—it’s the little things that make a difference. Management is so helpful and always willing to work with you when you have any issues. The price isn’t the lowest you can get but the service and cleanliness more than makes up for it.

The Chantilly, VA Daly Drive location is just off Rt 28 and convenient to my home. Facility has a keypad gate for convenient access until 10 pm. I had a 10x20 drive up unit for several years, which was not temperature controlled. Lighting is available in each unit and controlled by a time. AC power outlets are not available. Indoor temperature controlled units are available. I found the local management friendly and responsive. The only knock I have is the month to month rent. Before this location was bought by a national public company, rent was stable and attractive. After they were bought, rents jumped substantially and much faster than inflation. They finally priced me out when rent jumped to more than 2.5x what I was paying the privately owned business. I don't think local management controls the rent so I'm not beating up on the local. I also don't think this policy is unique to Extra Space Storage as most private storage facilities have been bought up by nationals. I can recommend this Extra Space location because it's clean and convenient and local management is friendly and responsive - just beware of cost increases if you plan an extended stay.
