I used this Handy Lock location for 12 years. I'd initially planned for a short-term rental upon moving home after college, but that obviously turned into a long-term rental. Throughout my entire rental, the management and staff of this location have been professional, friendly, efficient, and helpful. I have recommended Handy Lock on Grelot to family members who needed a storage solution during a move, and they were pleased as well. I have always received quick responses to any questions or requests. The facilities and grounds are always clean and uncluttered. The location is well-lit and I have always felt safe on the property no matter the hour. There is a coded gate to enter the storage portion of the facility, and each entry door has a coded lock as well (a fairly new addition). Handy Lock Self-Storage will be my go-to for any future storage needs.

We’ve had storage here for about 3 years & have been very happy . The climate control facility has kept our stuff in perfect condition. The management keeps the units clean & secure. They have been very professional and the grounds are kept very clean & attractive. Rent has always been very reasonable and it is very easy to bring large trucks in & out without a problem. Phyllis and the staff at Handy Lock Self Storage on Grelot Road in Mobile, Alabama are great! Phyllis is very friendly and helpful. She always puts a humorous spin on things and makes me feel like I am her best customer. This is the second time I have rented a storage unit from Phyllis and each time I have had a positive experience. The facility itself is always neat and clean. I love the added convenience of having the small dumpster in the back of the lot.
