Store Manager, Kiomari, was very helpful when I arrived. She greeted me with a smile, politely said I'll be right with you, since she was with another customer, she acknowledged my wait and assured me it won't be much longer. Once I was able to get her attention, I was taken care of promptly. The facility was clean and well-kept.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Cancellation of Storage Auction – Auction ID 48417 I am filing a complaint regarding the handling of a storage auction that I won through StorageAuctions.net. Auction Details: Auction Website: StorageAuctions.net Auction ID: 48417 Facility: StoreHere Self Storage – Glendale Address: 6129 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ Unit: 189 Winning Bid: $5 Redemption Code: 6643 After being notified that I was the winning bidder, I attempted to claim the unit within the required time period. I drove from the Tucson area to the facility on Saturday and arrived approximately nine minutes after the office closed. The manager was still physically in the office but refused to complete the paperwork even though she was present. Because the facility is closed on Sundays and Mondays, I had no choice but to return on Tuesday. In order to return Tuesday, I spent significant time arranging transportation and borrowed money for the required deposit. I borrowed a vehicle and began driving back to Glendale from the Tucson area. While I was already on my way, I called the facility and spoke with the manager. She stated she was taking her lunch break and was aware that I was driving to the facility to claim the unit. Despite knowing that I was already making the drive, she did not inform me that the unit was no longer available. After I had already driven a significant distance toward Phoenix, she called me back and stated that the owner had made a payment and that the unit was no longer available. I asked her directly why she had not called me earlier to tell me that the owner had made a payment since she knew I was already on my way to the facility. She did not answer my question and simply repeated that the owner had made a payment. This caused me significant inconvenience, wasted travel, and financial loss after I had already made arrangements and borrowed money in order to comply with the auction requirements. Because the auction had already closed and I had been declared the winning bidder, I am requesting verification of the exact time and date the tenant allegedly made payment. If the payment occurred after the auction closed, I would like clarification as to why the auction was cancelled after a winning bid had already been confirmed. Under Arizona self-storage lien law (A.R.S. §33-1701 through §33-1715), once a lien sale auction has concluded and a winning bidder has been declared, the procedures governing redemption and disposition of the property must be followed according to statute. I am requesting documentation verifying the timeline of the alleged payment and confirmation that the cancellation of this auction complied with Arizona law.
