I stopped by here to check out the prices talked with the really nice guy named Mike. Very reasonable and affordable storage units, I think I’m gonna come back and get a unit here it’s in a great location right off the freeway and seems really convenient for me. The associates were extremely helpful and kind and gave me a quick walk around the facility.

Mike At Extra Space Storage was a Great Guy to work with. The Corporate office is a whole different matter. My wife and I rented 3 units at the Escondido location while we sold our home and planned to move out of state. After a couple months into a rental of our first unit, our rent increased from $150 to $250.... with no notice. The girl in the office stated the Corporate office sends a notice in the mail of rent increases. I stated we never received anything in the mail and we had moved. She had us update our address with them. I asked why we hadn't received an email, since everything else is by email.. Billing reminders, Bills paid, Move out notice.... Even the address update was on line.... But when they are going to raise my rent you send a post card in the mail...our last unit was $208 a month I did receive a post card notifying me it was going up to $308 a month... a 50% increase. Drove across country and got my stuff out of there ASAP. Like I said Mike was great and he would try to get the rents reduced after these increases but the Corporate office was terrible. Good Luck

Great experience. Easy to reserve online and even had Mike (location manager) reach out directly to see if I had any questions prior to coming to the unit for the first time. Upon arrival realized that a unit on the 1st floor would be better suited for our needs - was super easy update the lease.
