If you’re looking for a long-term storage facility with friendly, professional staff who genuinely care about their tenants, Lock & Leave Storage on Richfield Rd in Placentia is an excellent choice. They offer move-in specials, U-Haul rentals on site, and a level of customer service that’s hard to find these days. I’ve been a happy tenant here for over 13 years and have seen several management changes. While I never had major issues before 2020, the atmosphere used to feel a bit stale. That completely changed when James became manager. Since then, the facility has been exceptionally well run, with tenant satisfaction clearly a top priority. Recently, the facility installed new security hasps on unit doors to improve safety. While I appreciate the added security, the change made my existing combination lock very difficult to use—on my next visit it took 5 minutes to unlock and 10 minutes to lock my unit. Byron, who was on duty during both visits, was professional, patient, and helpful as I worked through the issue. I went to the office expecting to have to purchase a new lock, but instead James took the time to understand the convenience the upgrade caused & provided me with a brand-new lock at no charge. Big thank you to James for being so understanding to tenant satisfaction & to Byron for his consistent professionalism & support. This kind of service is exactly why I continue to stay here and confidently recommended Lock and Leave storage to anyone looking for a secure , well managed favility.
