A-American Self Storage in Ridgecrest (Norma St) has been absolutely outstanding — and the manager, Hayley, deserves real credit. I’m the administrator of an estate/probate, and we currently have two large storage units here holding probate belongings. When the contents were delivered, I wasn’t able to be there in person. Hayley didn’t just point the movers in a direction and walk off — she met the moving company, guided them straight to the correct units, and stayed out there to help make sure everything was placed and arranged properly. She handled it professionally and smoothly while coordinating with me by phone, and that took a huge load off my shoulders during a stressful probate process. What really stands out is the follow-through afterward. Even though I pay six months in advance (so there’s no billing issue to “check on”), Hayley still reaches out about once a month just to make sure everything is OK and that the estate’s property is secure and handled right. That kind of care and accountability is rare. If you need storage in Ridgecrest — especially if you’re handling an estate or can’t be there in person — I highly recommend A-American Self Storage. This was my second time using American self storage on Norma street. I have no complaints about this place and I was always secured in the fact that I knew my belongings were safe. The storage units are in excellent condition with exterior lighting if you're there after dark. + There is a restroom on site if you need it. Haley the on-site manager is great! She is very prompt to respond and very personable. I will use them again in the future if needed. Thank you Haley!

My elderly mother that lived in another state and went to the hospital after a bad fall. I had been living with her but returned to California on a short trip to move my stuff out of my apartment in Ventura county, intending to live in Ridgecrest with a friend. With my mom in the hospital there was a sudden urgency to put my apartment stuff somewhere rapidly so I could go to be with her. Kurt was the manager at that time - super nice guy, and he made the process easy. I later needed two more large units, and the management had switched to Hayley. I met her in person - also super nice - and she made the process easy. The facility is secure and is kept clean. I know that what I have stored there is safe and secure, and the prices are far more reasonable than the prior "extra space" I had been renting in Palmdale.
