I came in with a friend just browsing, not fully expecting to buy on the spot. We didn’t make an appointment, we just walked in. We ended up getting assisted by Adam, who was incredible. He made us feel as if the units were comfortable, affordable, and most importantly, safe. He has exceptional customer service skills, and gets good conversations flowing easy. Adam answered all of our questions and we signed on the spot. I hope to see him climb further up the ladder while my friend and I lease our unit.

Frank helped me get set for a storage room. I asked my dad a deposit on the lock, and some other billing questions. Frank said he can get me in it for about $80 a month. Even though I'm sure it's in the paperwork he did not disclose that this was only a promotional . And that the price would almost double to $160 per month. Had he disclosed this I was asking about pricing I would have easily said no. I had to move everything in and then back out again. Sales tactics are related deceptive and if a customer is asking about billing this company needs to be transparent about the price almost doubling after a few months.

I reserved my unit online and it couldn't have been easier. I drove over an hour later and it was ready to go. The facility appears to be fairly well taken care of and clean. I have only two small gripes so far. First, I reserved a unit that was close to one of the entry doors. When I went to access the unit, the door keypad was not working. I talked to the guy at the front desk (very helpful and friendly, BTW) he said that it is a known problem with the keypads on that side of the building, but a solution had not been found. He got me into another unit right away on the other side of the building, though not as close to the door. The second gripe is that I have to get out of my car to punch in the main gate code. The keypad is set back behind two bollards and out of reach from my vehicle, though I don't see how it would be accessible from any vehicle. Overall I am very happy with Extra Space.
