UPDATE: Thanks to Kelly , my issue was resolved. She went out of her to make it right and I am grateful for her. She displays true leadership. Thank you again Kelly! I have been a customer at this storage facility for over 5 years, through multiple ownership changes, and unfortunately my recent experience with SmartStop has been the worst. When I went in to pay an overdue balance along with another unit, Tony (the manager) misled me about how my payment was being applied. He told me the second unit “would not go up for a bid” and that I had “until the 26th” — but he never disclosed that my belongings would be put up for auction before hand, or that there was a strict cutoff time on the 26th. Because of this lack of transparency, I was blindsided. Not only was I misinformed, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. When I first walked in, Tony ignored me, continued his personal phone conversation, and then treated me with absolute disrespect. This is not how customers should be treated, especially long-term customers. My items are not just “stuff” — they include family photos and sentimental belongings that cannot be replaced. The abuse of power, dishonesty, and lack of customer service here is shocking. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General and pursuing media coverage so others are warned. Tony does not own this facility, and he should learn what true customer service means.

Tony was incredibly friendly, helpful and flexible. He helped book a unit and was very accommodating when I needed to switch to a unit that better met my needs. I can tell he loves what he does and I feel very good about my belongings being at this facility under to Tony’s watchful eye. Highly recommend!

Amanda was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was professional, kind, patient, and incredibly informative every step of the way. She took the time to truly listen, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. She was especially helpful in explaining the importance of using cylinder locks for the storage unit, making sure I understood the security benefits and best practices for proper locking. Her knowledge and attention to detail really stood out, and she never made me feel rushed or overlooked. Amanda has a calm, reassuring presence and a genuine care for what she does, which makes a huge difference. I truly appreciated her compassion, professionalism, and dedication, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and exceptional at what they do.

Today I walked into Smart stop and and when I first walked in, I noticed the cleanliness and the friendliness the front desk lady her name is Amanda and she is great. She said that this wasn’t her regular store, but I could not tell. She operated her storage very well as well as the gentleman and I am coming from a A storage that I recently rented for like two times the price and the customer service in the whole layout was just nothing to write home about so I just want to think smart stop. I will be here hopefully not too long but I give it 100.. Did you hear that?

Hello everyone who is currently renting with Smartstop Storage, also potential renters. Recently I had an experience with smartstop that made me a believer that I am renting with the right storage company. I had the privilege of working directly with management to resolve my issue. Tony and Kai were both very helpful, informative and swift in the handling of my rental concerns. Kelly who is our district manager was supportive in my case and made my rental concerns an immediate resolvable issue. Take it from me, this management team are professional and always willing to help. Treat them how you’d like to be treated and you’ll see they do get results.
