Similar to other comments, very much a bait and switch situation. Whatever initial offer and pre-pay you can get is the best you'll get. As soon as my initial offer was up, my rent rate more than doubled knowing there wasn't much I could do (esp mid-winter). $85 to $203/month
Dave KennedyThe employees were fine but Extra Space increased my monthly rent for a 10x20 unit from $177 to $277 without any notification of any kind after only 5 months. I was overseas at the time and couldn’t move out until my return. That’s a 56% increase with no warning. Obviously they couldn’t care less about their customers.
