I would give negative stars if I could. Terrible experience. Spoke to Carter and rented a 10 x 20 unit with apprehension since the price was about $40 a month more then the competition 1 mile away. Was told that they have a superior product so they do not price match. I was told to expect price raises every few months but he assured me everyone does it. Went to the unit and saw the floor looked mottled and wondered why it wasn't clean but figured I could sweep it later. When we asked for a broom he told us that the cement in the units were not sealed so as much as you sweep and mop the powder comes back and there is nothing they can do about it. By the end of the day my boxes, furniture, shoes, and subsequently my car was covered with powder which meant I have to wipe my items off. (See pictures). What happened is their advertise a clean facility? I also found that no phone calls can be made from anywhere but the lobby. Major safety and medical concerns with no ability to call out. I found out the competition has phone reception in your units. Then when we had to use the bathroom we were told the bathrooms were shut down and we had to walk to the gas station to use theirs. No information as to when theirs will be up and running and they also said it would only be available 10:00 to 6:00 while the office was open. Before and after that, you guessed it, back to using the local gas station facilities. ALL OF THE ABOVE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED BEFORE RENTING THE UNITS..... The last salt thrown into the cut was Carters comment to someone who came in an said they were looking for me. His reply, oh the lady that couldn't make up her mind this morning. Good thing it was my husband and brother in law and not a customer.... what a rude thing to say!! The following day I spoke to Cindy and told her we would leaving within 30 days. She apologized for the dirty floors and and problems we were experiencing. She mopped other units just incase we wanted to transfer but we decided there were too many issues so we moved all our items twice within 24 hours.

CubeSmart, Cindy, Carter… From start to finish, this is a phenomenal experience. Super easy to reserve, great location, And both staff members are absolutely wonderful! Cindy even remembered her name from the week prior when we reserved the space online Carter was great at checking us in, very thorough and really helpful! The building is easy access, clean, and two very important things… Super clean indoor bathroom and cell service inside the building is seamless. Don’t overlook these things, because if you’re moving things in and out frequently, like I am, these are too imperatives.
