Had an excellent experience at this Fort Lauderdale location! The staff was incredibly helpful, a huge thank you to the team for being so professional and answering all my questions. The facility is spotless, well-lit, and I feel very secure keeping my belongings here. The climate control is a lifesaver in the Florida heat. Definitely the best storage option in the area. Highly recommend!

The way the management at the store operates is extremely shady. I booked both units on the Phone with the ExtraSpace storage customer service department. I was told that I was going to receive a free month for my second month. Then I go to the store to get my units and then they essentially switched the orders and how they were going to be handled. Now I’m being told after two weeks of trying to reach out to them that they are putting my units into auction even though I’ve been trying to reach them for two weeks they keep telling me they’re gonna call me back over and over again. In addition to that more than 10 days ago, I spoke to the customer service department at their call center who told me they were going to fix this issue no problem and that they would switch us back to the normal plan that they were supposed to because the local store had switched the transaction like the sale was coming from the store and not online. One of the transactions appeared to come from the web, which is actually not the case it came from over the phone when I was with the person on the phone originally. I then expressed my frustration With the manager and very uncompassionate person at the store with zero personality and she went ahead And categorized it as a move out a few days from now. How do you like that? I would never trust these people. I’ll be filing complaints with a federal trade, commission, the Better Business Bureau and many other companies

Cara at the front office always greets me with a smile and addresses all of the questions or concerns I send her way. Refreshingly, I sense that my business really matters here. The staff is awesome. Had trouble with my combination lock, thought we were going to have to have it cut. The staff was ready to help with cutting the lock, but they checked with opening the lock first. They were able to open the lock without cutting it. Very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!
