I don’t recommend renting a storage unit here. I would give zero stars if I could. Most of my belongings were damaged in 2025 due to water entering and flooding my storage unit following a rain storm. I had a second floor unit. Initially I didn’t know the cause, but I noticed multiple instances of where the hallways were wet. Employees later informed me that the building had a roof leak, which was allowing rain water to enter the storage areas. Luckily, or so I thought, I paid the extra monthly fee for their “Storage Value Coverage.” Definitely a horrible situation, but I thought I could at least replace some of my belongings by filing a claim. Unfortunately, the StorageMart claims department refuses to honor the full amount of my claim by stating that the contract limits me to 50% of the max coverage amount. Their reading of the contract terms is completely wrong, misunderstood and misapplied. Despite my numerous attempts to explain my case, they have yet to pay me anything because I don’t agree to settle for less money than I’m entitled to. I attempted to contact and work with management outside of the claims department, but I got nowhere. At this point I have to consider legal action because I don’t have any other options.

She was always available to answer our questions, guide us through the options, and make sure everything was handled efficiently. I had a very good experience at StorageMart, all thanks to the manager, Melissa at Griffin store . Moving can be incredibly stressful, However Melissa went above and beyond to ensure I got the right unit size for my needs. They were patient, professional, and genuinely cared about my unit needs. It’s rare to find this level of customer service these days, highly recommend speaking with them if you’re looking for a storage unit.

As any customer I like to shop around and make sure that I’m getting the best value for my money I walked into Cube Smart and met the manager Melissa who took her time to explain to me the pricing and show me the units and explained the rules and helped me understand that I was getting something that would store my valuables safely and securely. I left and went to Cymer down the road and the other location by the airport and I was met with a horrible woman who had no interest in providing me with any information nor the time to show me the unit or anything. It was a very clear decision to spend a little bit more money and go back to Melissa and sign up for a unit that I knew that I would be treated well my valuables would be safe and I would not have any other problems. Thank you, Melissa for your guidance your knowledge and the time that you took to help me find a unit for my valuables.
