Rent Tripled, Elevator Broke Mid-Lease, and Management Did Nothing! Had a unit with a friend . After the rent tripled after the first year, I signed a new lease under my name instead of paying the increase. ( so we had to move units down the hall / makes zero sense!!!) The elevator was working when we signed, but seven months into the new lease it broke -- and it has not been fixed since. This made the unit practically unusable.. The manager, Hugo, was no help at all, and management offered no real solutions or compensation. I eventually had to move out. Terrible management and zero accountability -- renters beware.

WARNING -- introductory rates significantly increase FAST (tripled in under 12 months). Also, after collecting my next month's payment they announced with one week notice that the elevator will be inaccessible until at least October, effectively blocking my access to my unit. Stairs only so nothing heavy can go in or out for a while.
