My wife and I had a unit at SmartStop but needed to upgrade to a larger size because we are planning on moving. James was able to find us the best price for a larger unit and was extremely helpful and professional in walking us through the process. This will be our fourth unit with SmartStop and we love them because they are always clean, temperature controlled, and we feel safe leaving our stuff stored here. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Access is easy and convenient. But be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully. After 4 months (or less) your rental fee will increase. When I signed up online those “terms” were very hidden way way way at the bottom in fine print. And in person, they do not make that clear either. They can update the rates at any time based on “the market.” However, you can negotiate. I still feel they could do a better job about being upfront about price increases so I am giving them 4 out of 5 stars.

Helpful. Professional. Quality storage space high ceiling can store VERTICALLY as well. Trustworthy with proficient surveillance. Secure location. Off the road but. It hard to find. Prepared stock with potential storing boxes available, reasonably priced. Overall great service thus far which is exciting and helpful considering my storage needs on a shirt notice. Easy process. Simple.

This place is a rip off. Don’t get stuck in here. They price gouge customers that have stayed past six months and they keep raising the rate and raising the rate. They’re online prices are $200-$300 difference and they have vacant units cause we all know that the Tampa and Saint Pete housing market is going in the tank and they are still trying to engage in increases. Additionally, they will harass you with text messages and phone calls calling them “Courtesy calls” when you have been paying within the allotted amount of time for 3+ years. Don’t rent from this place… as a local guide on Google whose reviews get seen by thousands, I hope that this saves someone else some heartache. Also, the guy that’s at the location is extremely rude and argumentative and has been for all the years that I’ve been renting there. Corporate needs to retrain him on Pleasant Customer service and teach him that rule number one is the customer is always right and rule number two is referred back to rule number one when you think the customer is wrong.
