I just departed from the CubeSmart on Interbay Blvd, and this was the most outstanding experience I've ever had with renting. Shana was a joy to work with and assisted me with all my inquiries. The facility is tidy and highly secure. I booked a spot for my Truck in the gated area, and I am extremely satisfied. Once more, Shana and this CubeSmart location are top-notch. 5 stars across the board.

This place is very disappointing. I rented an outdoor space for my boat in September. Paid the first month and administrative fee upfront, second month was free (promo), and started my regular payments in November. Two days prior to my first regular payment I received an email from CubeSmart stating my monthly payment was going to increase by nearly 20% in December. I hadn't even paid my first regular monthly payment before they increased the rate by 20%! I just spoke to the manger on-site who suggested that these agreements are month-to-month and subject to market adjustments, and she had no authority to negotiate the price (despite her suggesting that she did have this authority when I signed on). Also, month-to-month contracts are all CubeSmart offers so there is no alternative to lock in a rate. All of this after I spent the first 6 weeks at this facility parked next to a boat so neglected and dilapidated that racoons made a home in its hull and left a legit puddle of racoon pee on my boat cover, damaging the upholstery. The facility is fine and the staff is kind, but I'd recommend a different facility for your boat storage needs. I was able to find two facilities within 2 miles of this location that offer similar spots for a under $125/month. This place will raise the price on you whenever they please and without explanation, and when confronted with this reality, everyone's hands are tied and they cannot do anything to help. Do not recommend.

Manager on site Shana made the storage process easy for me, it was the best experience as she toured the property which is super clean. Great customer service, very compassionate and a great listener. Best you can get in south tampa!!

Damn it, I fell for the same thing a friend who rented there warned me about. They charge you the upfront fee to get started then raise your rental 50 percent soon after. Find an ethical storage place since this one isn’t.
