Do not store your stuff here, it is NOT SECURE! We have been renting a unit here since last summer, when we moved up to NYC. We hoped our stuff would be safe in the meantime, but the facility just called to let us know someone was able to get on top of our unit and get inside. They sent us the following photos showing the inside of our unit, which has been completely trashed (everything was neatly stored in boxes/bins before). The unit costs nearly $400/month and even after what happened they haven't offered us a discount or anything while we figure out what to do next. No one should use this facility, it is NOT SAFE!

Overall within my first week I’d rate the experience a 6/10. The facility is clean, initial information was given and process was seamless for the most part. The only thing that could be better is the customer service level. The staff is just there from what I witness. The elevator was inoperable Saturday. No notice or anything. Went to let someone in the office know and a woman came out and said they’re working on getting someone out tomorrow and come back then. She couldn’t do anything else because she was headed to another property and “no one wants to stay past six”. I get it , things happen but the level of customer service was subpar . Act like you care at the bare minimum i understand its outside of your control but it just seemed like an “oh well” moment if nothing else.

This storage unit is very nice and convenient for me. It is close to my house and easy for me to store my work and holiday items. I have been able to drive trucks easily to the parking lot and they stay open till 10pm which has never been an issue for me. The staff there is always nice and their restroom is always clean. They do have three carts usually in the front of you have a lot of items to carry in.

Kayla at the Extra Space Storage on Edgewood Ave gave me excellent customer service. She was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The facility is very clean too which is a plus.
