I want to take a moment to recognize Terrence Carter at Space Shop Self Storage. I recently rented a unit and ran into an issue where someone had parked in my designated spot. I reached out after hours, not expecting much, but Terrence went above and beyond. He came out personally and resolved the situation right away, which honestly meant a lot. On top of that, he took the time to make sure I was completely comfortable, even offering to let me switch spots if I preferred. That level of care and attention is rare. Terrence showed true professionalism and outstanding customer service. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the people he’s helping, not just doing a job. I really appreciate the extra effort he put in for me, and it did not go unnoticed. If you’re considering storage here, just know you’re in good hands.

After six years of renting a storage unit without a single issue, I showed up on June 20, 2026, to find my padlock removed and all of my belongings gone. Terrance Carter informed me that my unit had been considered abandoned and everything had been sold at auction because they claimed they made multiple attempts to contact me. I received one phone call in April with no voicemail and never received any emails or other notification. The property I lost included military items and family heirlooms from my late grandparents and my father—things that cannot be replaced or compensated for. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone storing valuable or sentimental belongings. I believe prospective customers deserve to know what happened before trusting this business with their property.

I had a great experience with this storage facility and especially with Terrance, the property manager. He communicated clearly from the start, was super friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He’s just an all-around easygoing, genuine guy who made everything smooth and stress-free. The facility itself is very clean, well-maintained, and feels secure. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to other options I looked at. Overall, this was one of the easiest and most positive storage experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend working with Terrance if you’re considering storage here.

I rented a unit on the 31st. Was told someone would be available at the property. I got there fully loaded and no one was there. I called twice and was assured someone would call me back with a code. No such luck. It is now the next day and I still have heard nothing.

Be warned, Expect excessive rate increases! Don’t believe all these 5 star ratings , the fact the owner replies to only the positive reviews shows that they are only interested in money and don’t care about their customers. Glad I’m done with this greedy business!!
