I signed up for a storage unit while I was preparing to move, and I was originally quoted around $50 a month for a 5x10 unit. When I arrived to move in, I was told the unit I reserved was already occupied, so I was assigned a different unit at what I was told would be the same price. I even confirmed this with staff, and I was assured my rate would not change. However, when I received my first bill, it was $70 instead. When I reached out for clarification, I was told that neither the staff nor the district manager could make any adjustments. I’m confused by this, especially after being given a different price at sign-up. Because of this experience, I will be removing my belongings and would not recommend this facility. The communication and pricing process felt unprofessional and misleading.
