Huge huge huge thank you to Storage Mart and Sammy for making renting a unit beyond simple. This was the first time we had ever needed to rent out a storage unit and he made it seem so easy. He helped us out with choosing a unit that would accommodate our needs and be easy access especially since one of us has mobility issues. Great service, great pricing, and I will definitely be recommending this storage facility to everyone! During what seems like a very difficult time for us as a family, Sammy made this part of the process so smoothly. He answered every single question we had very professionally. Awful Experience with Metro Storage Metro Storage has been a complete nightmare. They pile on fees left and right without ever notifying you or explaining what they’re for. They claim to be flexible, but that couldn’t be further from the truth—any time you need help or make a request, they make everything difficult. If something happens to your belongings, don’t expect compensation. They refuse to take responsibility and will do everything they can to avoid returning your money. It feels like they create problems on purpose just to avoid paying you back. To make matters worse, they constantly raise their rates without warning. My monthly cost suddenly jumped by around aprx $140 with absolutely no notice or justification. Metro Storage is unprofessional, unreliable, and only interested in squeezing more money out of you. I highly recommend avoiding them and finding a storage company that’s honest and transparent.
